Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received a phone call from U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff to discuss the latest regional developments.
During the call, Witkoff briefed Abdelatty on the U.S. position following recent talks with Iran in Islamabad, within the framework of ongoing coordination between Egypt and the United States.
Abdelatty stressed the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts and relying on dialogue and peaceful solutions to reach understandings that support regional security and stability.
Witkoff praised coordination with Egypt and its role in supporting stability in the Middle East, expressing appreciation for continued Egyptian efforts.
