Egypt, Algeria FMs Discuss Regional Developments over Phone

On Sunday, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry received a telephone conversation from his Algerian counterpart, Ramtane Lamamra.

During the talks, the two top diplomats discussed the latest developments on the international scene with a view to unifying Arab positions in light of continued consultation and coordination between the two friendly countries.

and pursuant to the directives of President Abdel Majid Tebboune and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, which were confirmed during the president's visit to Cairo.

Last month, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during his last visit to Cairo. They held a session of one-to-one bilateral talks and discussed the Libyan crisis and the developments of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) issue.
