The scene of football in Egypt was on fire since Egypt’s team lost to Ethiopia as part of the qualifying rounds of the AFCON. The national team received a painful defeat against South Korea.

The Pharaohs participated in the game without their key player and skipper Mohamed Salah, who has been ruled out due to his injury. Also, Arsenal Midfielder Mohamed El Neny, and Aston Villa’s winger Mahmoud Hassan have been out due to injuries.

The match came after the Pharaohs managed to defeat Guinea 1-0 in the opening match of the AFCON qualifiers, but they suffered a 0-2 shocking defeat to Ethiopia.
