On Wednesday, the Appeals Committee at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to approve registering three players signed by Zamalek in the Winter Transfer Window after the club scheduled payment of outstanding dues.
During the winter transfer window, which closed on 31 January officially, Zamalek signed two new players; Aswan Moroccan midfielder Ahmed Belhadji on loan, and NBE striker Nasser Mansi.
They also restored the services of their center-back Mahmoud Shabana after ending his loan spell at Smouha.
However, the EFA refused to register the trio because the club owed money.
Last week, club president Mortada Mansour announced a settlement was reached with the federation to schedule payment.
The first match for the trio will come against Esperance of Tunisia in the third round of Group D games on Saturday.
The White Knights, who are struggling on and off the pitch this season, have claimed only two wins in 11 games in all competitions since the start of 2023.
They lie fourth in the Egyptian Premier League with 32 points, five points behind leaders and arch-rivals Ahly.
