Ecuador's President Declares Internal Operations to Normalize Criminal Groups

On Tuesday, Ecuador's president President Daniel Noboa announced orders to "neutralize" the presence and the actions of the criminal gangs after the latest incident of a gunman who stormed into a TV studio, opened fire in the studio, and threw various threats. 

In the same context, various riots broke out in the country after the escape of one of the most dangerous criminals in the country.

Ecuador's President ordered military operations to "neutralize" the criminal groups after they declared war after the escape of the drug gang leader. 

Eight people were killed and three were injured in various attacks in Guayaquil, and two officers were "viciously murdered by armed criminals" in Nobol, police said Tuesday evening.

After the escape of Jose Adolfo Macias, the leader of Ecuador's biggest drug gang Los Choneros, Ecuador's president declared a nationwide state of emergency, on Monday.
