Each season of the year is suitable for a specific type of cake in which we use the available fruits.
Food Blogger Fatma Badawi introduces a banana cake with cinnamon and ginger to warm your body in the winter season.

*Ingredients
Two and half cups of flour
One and half cups of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
3 eggs
Baking powder and vanilla
1/4 cup oil
100 grams butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
4 to 5 mashed bananas (according to the size. 2 are enough if it big)
(Nut /Coconut / Raisins)
*Method
Beat the sugar, butter and vanilla together using the hand mixer.
Add the eggs to the mixture and beat.
Add the bananas and beat.
Then, add the ginger and cinnamon and beat.
Add the nut, coconut and raisins.
Lastly, add the flour and baking powder to the mixture and beat.
Grease the pan and put the mixture smoothly and bake from 30 to 45 minutes.
After the cake is cooked, turn off the oven and leave it for a while to cool.
Now, serve it with ice cream and enjoy the tasty cake. You can add a topping of caramel sauce and nuts if you want
*To make an easy Caramel Sauce:
Put half cup of sugar in a small pot on the stove.
Stir until it melts and changes its color.
Turn off the stove, add 3/4 cup of milk and keep stirring.
Add a spoonful of butter to the mixture and stir.
Filter the mixture. That’s it, the caramel is done.
* To make Caramelized Nuts:
Put the nuts in a hot pan on the stove.
Add two tbsp of white sugar.
Stir the mixture until the sugar changes its color and becomes caramel.
