Canadian rapper Drake gave an update about his long-delayed “Certified Lover Boy” album, which was initially set for January 2021 but was postponed after he sustained a knee injury.
On Saturday night, Drake gave a rare interview on Caffeine after an appearance at Ultimate Rap League’s N.O.M.E. XI battle-rap event. He discussed a forthcoming rap battle between Murda Mook and Reed Dollaz, which is set to take place at the end of the summer. However, the rapper reassured fans that the album will release this year, writing: “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
The new album will mark his sixth full-length studio album and will be the follow up to 2018’s “Scorpion” .
