DR Congo to begin day of national mourning

A day of national mourning will begin in DR Congo on Monday throughout the country over the victims who died as a result of the floods and landslides that struck Kalehe in South Kivu.

 The Congolese President expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims who were affected by the floods and landslides, noting that a government mission will go to visit the stricken area in order to support the provincial government in managing this disaster, according to local media today. 

The government of the province of "South Kivu" announced that the number of victims of floods and landslides in "Kalehe" rose to 176  and while 50 were injured.
