Dozens Injured, Others Missing after Hotel Roof Collapses in Turkey's Sarikamis-Kars

A large number of casualties occurred after a roof collapsed of one of the hotels collapsed in Sarıkamış, a district of Kars Province, Turkey.

Reports pointed out that the accident occurred during the event commemorating the 108th anniversary of the fall of a large number of deaths from the Ottoman army in the Battle of Sarıkamış  against Russia in World War I.

The governor of Kars said that at least 200 people were in the hall whose ceiling collapsed.

He stated that the number of injured people in hospitals has now reached 10, and the cases of some of them are very serious, in addition to those, who are missing  under the rubble, as the competent authorities are working to reach them.
