Donia Samir to Perform at AFCON Closing Ceremony

Egyptian star Donia Samir Ghanem will perform at the closing ceremony of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, held in Egypt.

The song, dubbed "Here We Are," will be sung by Ghanem in collaboration with the Ghanaian Afropop singer Fuse ODG.

This song is written by Amir Teima, composed by Hisham Gamal, and distributed by Mady. The ceremony will be held on Friday, July 19 at Cairo Stadium (19:00 CLT)

Algeria will play against Senegal in the final encounter of the 2019 AFCON later that day at Cairo Stadium (21:00 CLT).

It is worth mentioning that the opening ceremony of this tournament witnessed a large number of positive interactions and comments among the people on social media. It was performed by Egyptian folk singer Hakim alongside Nigerian singer Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, and Ivorian Dobet Gnahoré in French.
