Egyptian authorities were able to rescue the entire crew of a ship in the Gabal al-Zeit area in the Red Sea.
The authorities received a report of a ship sinking near Gabal al-Zeit, on the Red Sea coast, due to bad weather conditions.
Rescue units were immediately dispatched, where they succeeded in rescuing 4 of the ship's crew.
A few hours later, two others were rescued, and the entire crew of the ship was rescued and transferred to a naval unit to receive health care.
The ill-fated ship, named "TRITON", was heading from the coast of Rashid city in Beheira governorate to Hurghada, and was exposed to high waves and strong winds that led to water leaking into it and sinking near Gabal al-Zeit.
It turned out that the ship was carrying 6 individuals, and the authorities succeeded in rescuing them all before proceeding to recover the sunken ship and opening an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
