The Arab Republic of Egypt stressed the importance of complying with obligations in accordance with the provisions of international law, calling on Israel to stop the war it is waging against the Gaza Strip, urging both Israel and Hamas to take serious steps towards completing this deal as soon as possible.
Concerning, what was stated in the resolution regarding the Security Council’s commitment to the vision of a two-state solution in accordance with the decisions of international legitimacy, Egypt reaffirmed the necessity of taking serious action by international parties to find the political horizon for implementing the two-state solution as it is the only guarantee for ending the crisis and supporting the pillars of stability and coexistence in the region.
