This recipe is a delicious, easy-to-make dish that can be served as a main course or an appetizer.
Ingredients:
1 kg (2.2 lbs) of fresh shrimp, unpeeled
4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Optional: A pinch of red chili flakes for heat
Preparation Steps:
1. Preparation:
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Leave the shells on for added flavor.
2. Marination:
In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
Let the shrimp marinate for 20–30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Cooking:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Spread the marinated shrimp evenly in a baking dish.
Dot the shrimp with small pieces of butter.
4. Baking:
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked. Be careful not to overcook them to retain their tenderness.
5. Serving:
Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle additional parsley on top for garnish.
Serve immediately with crusty bread, rice, or pasta to enjoy the flavorful garlic butter sauce.
