Defense Minister, Chairman of NATO Military Committee Discuss Bilateral Co-op

Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki met with Admiral Rob Power, Chairman of NATO Military Committee, and his accompanying delegation in Egypt.

The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest in light of the areas of military cooperation and exchange of experiences between both sides.

 Zaki stressed his appreciation for the friendly relations and military cooperation with the NATO Military Committee, noting the consensus of visions on various issues and topics that contribute to supporting the pillars of security and stability in the region.

For his part, Chairman of NATO Military Committee praised the pivotal role played by the Egyptian state in achieving security, stability and balance in the region, expressing his aspiration to enhance the prospects for cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Egyptian Armed Forces and NATO Military Committee.

Furthermore, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Armed Forces Chief of Staff met with Admiral Rob Power and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed cooperation relations in various military fields.

 The meeting was attended by a number of armed forces leaders.
