The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt during Friday's daylight hours.
Moderate weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Light rainfall will prevail in the north of Lower Egypt, and North Coasts at intermittent periods.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 2.5 and 3.25 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
An extremely cold front is set to bring a freezing climate to North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and Western Sahara.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 23°C in Sohag, 21°C in Qena, and 21°C in Aswan.
