Libyan Minister of Health announced that the death toll from Hurricane Daniel in Libya had risen to 3,868 people, according to the Al Arabiya.
Hisham Shekiwat, Minister of Civil Aviation in the Libyan government, said that the situation in Libya is very bad, as the scale of the disaster is large, exceeding the state’s capabilities to deal with this type of disaster, and the number of victims is increasing over time, and the number of deaths has exceeded 1,500.
He also pointed out to an increase in the number of missing people noting that rescue teams and army forces are racing against time to rescue neighborhoods and try to restore services in the city, including electricity and communications.
