The Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa will observe the crescent moon of Ramadan, next Tuesday, to mark the beginning of the blessed month.
The event of the observation will take place after the Prayer of Al-Maghrib (the sunset) for 30 minutes, and the result of the observation will be announced immediately.
According to astronomical studies, the rise of the Ramadan Crescent moon will be at 7: 24 pm on the Day of Observation (Yawm Al Roayah) in Cairo time.
This means that the new crescent won't exist by the sunset in Cairo, and the majority of the Muslim countries.
So, Wednesday is expected to be the final day of Shaaban, and the beginning of Ramadan would be on Thursday.
Regarding the first day of the Eid Al Fitr, it will be on Friday, 21 April.
