CAIRO, Feb. 27 (SEE)- Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, minister of Culture, described the first edition of Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi Award for creativity, as one of the new paths of creativity in the Arab world.
Her talk came as she was attending the ceremony of announcing winners, following an invitation by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, chairman of Fujairah Authority for Culture and Information.
The award includes children's literature, poetry and critical studies.
Dr. Abdel-Dayem said this award aims to discover the promising talents in the different literary fields.
She stressed the need for Arab creators to interact with them to enhance cooperation and cultural partnership between Arabs.
Fujairah Cultural Forum deals with the role of artistic and literary production in preserving heritage and traditions.
