Today, Sunday, the Croatian authorities announced their readiness to deliver 12 Mi-8 MTV1 and two Mi-8 helicopters to Ukraine.
The Croatian Armed Forces on Saturday took out the helicopters, and now the signs of affiliation are being removed from their structures and prepared for transport across Poland, according to the Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.
The helicopters are scheduled to arrive in 10 days, with seven days to dismantle and transport the parts out of the country.
Earlier, Russia confirmed that any shipment containing weapons to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russian forces, warning NATO not to "play with fire."
