Greece is extending its ban on flights from the UK for another two weeks over coronavirus pandemic, said the country's prime minister.

British holidaymakers won't be able to travel to Greece until 15 July, despite the country opening its borders on Wednesday to other foreign guests.

The decision was taken at a meeting between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his officials which will also see flights from Sweden suspended for another two weeks.

This means British families with Greek getaways booked for the summer school holidays will still be able to fly-unless the limits are further increased.
