The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said yesterday, Saturday, that the total number of Coronavirus infections in the United States of America (USA) reached 9.024 million cases, an increase of 99,750 cases over the previous outcome, while the number of deaths rose to 229,109 thousand cases after the disease killed 1,009 others in the last 24 hours.
The American centers recorded their toll of COVID-19 infections, which is the respiratory disease caused by the virus, compared to its report the previous day.
The US Centers' statistics do not necessarily reflect the cases recorded by each state across the country.
On the other hand, US President Donald J. Trump stressed that the Democrats will close the country because all they care about is controlling the American people and collecting money.
Speaking in Pennsylvania to a rally of his supporters, Trump criticized his rival in the presidential election as saying: “Joe Biden's plan will destroy the country, but my plan will destroy the virus and restore life to all aspects of life."
Trump said that Biden and his party would shut down the economy, wipe out the petroleum industries, and go with the millions of jobs.
