Weather conditions are improving across Egypt after a wave of unstable weather swepped the country in the past two days.

The wave was accompanied by rain, thunderstorms, hailstorm, and a temperature drop.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm weather will prevail across the country during Friday's daylight hours.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Winds will occasionally occur in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and Canal Cities.

Light rainfall will prevail intermittently in Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt, and North Coast.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between southwest and southeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 21°C in Cairo, 22°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 25°C in Sohag, 26°C in Qena, and 27°C in Aswan.
