Civil Forces in Algeria succeeded in controlling the latest wildfires in jijel, media outlets reported on Saturday.
The authorities added that no casualties were recorded due to the incident.
Earlier, the Chief of the Civil Forces in the city revealed that the forces controlled several fires in the city, dedicating a number of units to treat those incidents.
He added that residents of several villages were evacuated to avoid any casualties.
