52nd CIBF Details Revealed

Dr. Haitham El Hag, the director of the Egyptian General Book Organization, said that audience can visit the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) starting from July 1.

During his speech in a press conference dedicated to announcing the details of the event, El Hag highlighted that this 52nd edition is an exceptional one due to the pandemic.

The event will kick off on June 30, and it will last until July 15. It will be hosted at Egypt International Exhibitions Center.

Regarding the number of participants is 1218 publisher from 25 countries such as Sudan, Morroco, Tunisia, Syria, Russia, Spain, UK, US, Palestine, Japan, and Greece.

Furthermore, several activities of the CIBF will be organized visually on the event's platform, in addition, a new initiative will be launched under the theme of "Thaqaftak Ketabak" (Your Book...You Knowledge).

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, the organizers of the book fair established an online method of booking the event's tickets for the visitor's safety.
