In continuation of his visits to archaeological sites and museums, during his current official visit to Egypt, Mr. Li Qun, Chairman of the National Antiquities Authority and Chinese vice Minister of Culture and Tourism, and his accompanying delegation visited the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
The Chinese vice Minister expressed his happiness with this visit, and his admiration for the unique artifacts in the museum. He also took photos inside the museum.
The delegation included the cultural advisor at the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, and a group of university professors in Beijing and Shanghai specialize in archaeology.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, had met yesterday with Mr. Li Qun at the ministry's headquarters in Zamalek, to discuss ways to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two countries at the tourism and archaeological level.
