On Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a condolence message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising to help the Coronavirus-affected country cope with a devastating surge of infections and casualties, according to international reports.

Jinping said in his message: “On behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, and in my own capacity, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Indian government and people.”

Furthermore, the Chinese President told Modi in this personal message of condolence on Friday that he would have China’s support in fighting the coronavirus as Chine succeeded in controlling the novel Coronavirus.

It's worth mentioning that India now has the most coronavirus cases of any country, with nearly 6.6 million infections. Hospitals in cities including New Delhi and other Indian provenances are struggling to cope with the wave of patients.

In response to this current disaster, many countries around the world have also pledged to ship badly needed medical supplies to India.

Lately, France has promised to send ventilators, oxygen generators, and a number of medical equipment by next week, with Germany, and Pakistan, India’s neighbor, and longtime rival sending personal protective gear, treatments, and diagnostic tests along with ventilators and oxygen.
