China’s Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian issue to the broader Middle East region, calling for an immediate end to the war on Gaza, according to Alqahera.
In a statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said: “The Palestinian cause remains at the core of Middle East affairs,” underscoring Beijing’s position on the need for a just and lasting resolution to the conflict.
The ministry also urged all relevant parties to cease hostilities in the Gaza Strip and return to dialogue as a path toward peace and stability in the region.
China has consistently called for the implementation of the two-state solution and the resumption of negotiations based on international law and United Nations resolutions.
Its latest remarks come amid mounting international concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza and ongoing calls for a ceasefire.
