Singapore and China intend to hold joint naval military drills this week, which is the first between them since 2021.

In a statment, Singapore Ministry of Defense said that the exercises will be held during the period from April 28 to May 1, and will include two phases on the beach and at sea.

It added that the Singapore Navy will regularly conduct bilateral and multilateral exercises with foreign navies, as part of continuous efforts to enhance mutual trust and cooperation with other countries.
