Today, the Chinese authorities sent thousands of residents of the capital, Beijing, to forcible quarantine centers after discovering 26 cases of “COVID-19” in their place of residence, according to pictures and an official notice circulating on social media.

More than 13,000 residents of the Nanxinyuan residential complex, southeast of the capital, were transferred to hotels designated for sanitary isolation at night, although the results of the “COVID” tests they underwent were negative.

The authorities threatened them with penalties if they resisted these measures, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

“Experts have decided that all Nanxinyuan residents will be quarantined starting at midnight on May 21st for seven days,” said an official statement from the health authorities of Chaoyang District.
