China has successfully launched six satellites into Earth's orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency.

The satellites, named Jitianxing-A-03, Suxing-1-01, and Tianfu Gaofen-2, were deployed using a platform situated on a barge in the Yellow Sea, near the coast of eastern Shandong province.

The launch, which took place at 1:22 PM Beijing time (8:22 AM Moscow time) on August 29, was conducted using the Ceres-1 rocket.

This marks the 15th mission for rockets of this type. The Ceres-1 is a lightweight, four-stage rocket that runs on solid fuel. It has a diameter of 1.4 meters, and a length of 19 meters, and is capable of delivering a payload of up to 400 kilograms into Earth's orbit.

To date, more than 20 satellites have been launched using Ceres-1 rockets.

China's space program continues to advance rapidly, with the country launching approximately 67 rockets in 2023 alone.

Projections suggest that China will further increase its launch activities, aiming to send nearly 100 rockets into space in 2024.
