China Expresses Keenness to Boost Bilateral Relations with Cuba

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin confirmed on Wednesday, his country's welcome for the visit of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero to China from November 2 to 9, and his participation in the 6th China International Import Expo. 

In a daily press conference, he added that Beijing is ready to work with Cuba to seize this visit as an opportunity to deepen the distinctive friendly relations between the two countries in the new era, and to build a community of common destiny between them.

Moreover, Wang explained that Marrero's visit to China is of great importance to continue implementing the important consensus reached by the presidents of the two countries and deepening Chinese-Cuban relations, noting that China and Cuba are good friends with a close relationship.
