China Global Television Network (CGTN) reported that the first group was transported by sea to Cyprus yesterday, Tuesday, while the second group returned by air directly to Beijing today, Wednesday.
Many countries recently evacuated their nationals from Lebanon against the backdrop of recent tensions resulting from the Israeli air strikes that targeted the country during the past week.
