China Accuses Trump of Spreading New Political Virus

The Chinese Ambassador in the UN accused Donald Trump of "spreading a political virus" through "false accusations" against China regarding its management of the "Coronavirus" crisis before the United Nations General Assembly.

" While the international community is fiercely fighting COVID-19, the United States is spreading a political virus here in the General Assembly," Ambassador Zhang Jun told reporters. According to FPA.

Jun Also stated that Trump attacked Beijing in his speech at the opening of the annual diplomatic rally, and accused it of spreading COVID-19 "around the world."

Moreover, the US President described the virus as a "Chinese one", "leaving China and infecting the whole world," saying that "China must be held accountable for its actions."

Jun replied that "China firmly rejects these false accusations from the United States," adding that "the American clamor is inconsistent with the General Assembly."

The Chinese Ambassador accused the US President of "exploiting the United Nations to weaken" the international organization.

Chinese President Xi Jinping urged the world to "reject the politicization and marginalization" of Coronavirus, considering that international solidarity is the only way to overcome the crisis.

Xi in his videotaped speech to the United Nations General Assembly asked the world leaders to adopt "the concept of the big family ... and avoid falling into the trap of a clash of civilizations," after his US counterpart Trump attacked China fiercely in his speech.
