CBE Withdraws EGP 1.193 Trillion from Banks' Surplus Liquidity

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) withdrew about EGP 1.193 trillion from surplus liquidity at banks.

The central bank thus recorded a new record level, exceeding the liquidity it withdrew two weeks ago, amounting to about EGP 1.05 trillion, according to data published on the bank’s website.
