Egypt’s population inside the country reached 108.75 million, marking an increase of 750,000 people over 196 days, according to data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The country’s population had stood at 108 million on August 16 last year. The latest rise reflects a steady demographic expansion driven by natural population growth.

A second rise of 250,000 people followed on December 20, bringing the total to 108.5 million over a 67-day period.
The third quarter-million increase was registered on February 28, occurring after 70 days.
