President of the Cameroon Football Association Cideo Mbombo on Monday announced that his country has officially refused to host the semi-finals and finals matches of the CAF Champions League.
During a press conference, Mbombo said that his country is not ready for hosting the remaining matches of the competition because of coronavirus pandemic.
Before the spread of coronavirus, the football's governing body in Africa named Douala city to host the Champions League final, which is scheduled to be held in a single match.
Egypt's Al Ahly are set clash against Morocco's Wydad, while Zamalek are set to face Raja in the semi-final.
