Cairo Slams Israeli Statements on Saudi Arabia as Reckless and Unacceptable

Egypt has strongly condemned the latest Israeli statements targeting Saudi Arabia, describing them as reckless, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. The remarks, which suggested the creation of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory, were denounced as a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty and a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Egypt rejected these statements outright, reaffirming that Saudi Arabia’s security and sovereignty are a red line that cannot be crossed. Cairo made it clear that any threat to the Kingdom’s stability is also a direct threat to Egypt and the Arab world. The security of Saudi Arabia is central to regional stability, and Egypt will not tolerate any attempt to undermine it.

These Israeli remarks were condemned as a violation of diplomatic norms and a dangerous provocation. Egypt reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to establish an independent state on their own land, not at the expense of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty. It stressed that a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue must be based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.

Cairo declared its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and called on the international community to take a clear stance against Israel’s statements. Egypt urged global condemnation of these remarks, warning that such rhetoric threatens regional peace and disregards the principles of sovereignty and international legitimacy.
