President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman, following the Iranian aggression that targeted the territories of the brotherly Kingdom.
Official presidential spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that during the call, the President emphasized Egypt’s full solidarity with the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia.
He underscored that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Arab national security, and that any infringement on the sovereignty of Arab nations represents a direct threat to regional stability and exacerbates the gravity of the situation in the region.
Moreover, Sisi reaffirmed the necessity of intensifying international and regional efforts to contain the current tensions.
He also stressed that political and diplomatic solutions remain the optimal path for overcoming crises, warning that continued military escalation will only bring further suffering to the peoples of the region and undermine prospects for development.
For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s supportive stance toward the Kingdom, praising the depth of the historical relations and the fraternal ties binding the two countries.
