Cairo is hosting preparatory sessions for an international conference aimed at supporting the Lebanese Army, amid a sensitive period for Lebanon’s political and security landscape.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati reaffirmed his country’s firm stance in support of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing the need for full implementation of United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 1701.
