Bushra Opens Up on Her Coronavirus Infection (Video)

Aswan international Women film Festival official Instagram account published an interview of Egyptian actress-singer Bushra with TV presenter Bossy Shalaby.

She was keen to deny the rumors that circulated days ago about being infected with the Coronavirus.

"It is not Coronavirus, I swear, and here is the inhaler," Bushra said.

Bushra was subjected to a severe health crisis that led to her being transferred to a hospital after she had experienced shortness of breath.

The actress was keen to participate in the opening ceremony of the 4th Aswan international Women film Festival, which is currently taking place from February (10-15).

This is considered to be her first appearance after her sudden health crisis.

It is worth mentioning that the World Health Organization announced the official name for the disease had have killed over 1,000 people is Covid-19.

"We now have a name for the disease and it's Covid-19," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a press statement.

It have also left tens of thousands of people infected.

The new name is taken from the words of "corona", "virus" and "disease".

On Monday, some 103 people died in Hubei province alone, a daily record, and the national death toll is now 1,016.

Last Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that his country is “fully capable” of eradicating the new coronavirus, while China‘s economy will not be affected by this deadly virus.

According to official media reports, the Chinese President told US President Donald Trump on the phone, that his country’s economy is capable of facing the developments.

Xi also told Trump that China is “fully confident and able to defeat” the virus, according to Chinese state television.
