The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan praised on Thursday Saudi Arabia's supportive stance towards Sudan.
This came during an encounter between Burhan and Saudi Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, who is currently visiting Riyadh.
During their meeting, Burhan affirmed Sudan's keenness to develop joint cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the economic and trade fields.
He also promised to facilitate the entry of Saudi investments and remove all obstacles they face.
On his part, Qattan described his visit to Sudan as “one of the most successful visits he has made since taking office in 2018.”
He conveyed Saudi King Salman bin Abdaudiulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s greetings and congratulated them on the formation of a new transitional government.
Qattan said that his visit to Khartoum came in accordance with the Saudi King and Crown Prince’s directives. It aims at consolidating relations between both countries.
