BTS member Jungkook dropped Friday his forthcoming new single “Seven”, featuring Grammy-nominated rap star Latto.
It marks the first collaboration between Jungkook and Latto.
The music video for the track finds the K-pop idol engulfed in a heated exchange with Han So-hee, who stars in the clip as his on-screen girlfriend, while the two are dining at a fancy restaurant. A chandelier then falls from the ceiling, disrupting the other patrons while the duo remained locked in their argument.
When the news of the collaboration first broke, Latto tweeted “S/O to the Army,” alongside three “7” emojis, a simultaneous reference to the song’s title and her jackpot imagery.
The announcement adds to the “Big Energy” rapper’s banner year. Her Cardi B-assisted “Put It On Da Floor Again” hit No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, and she recently won best female hip-hop artist at the 2023 BET Awards.
