US pop singer Britney Spears and fiancé Sam Asghari have set a date to tie the knot.
The pop star's 28-year-old fiancé posted a photo from their engagement day on his Instagram stories.
"Our lives has been a real fairytale. Happy Mother's Day to you my soon-to-be queen. Also, the big day has been set! But nobody will know until the day after," Sam wrote.
Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021. The “Criminal” singer and actor-fitness enthusiast have been dating for four years.
The couple met on the set of the singer’s “Slumber Party” music video in 2016, in which he played her love interest.
Spears made her relationship with Asghari public in 2017 on New Year’s Day.
In April, the acclaimed singer announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The pop star shares two sons Sean Preston and Jayden with ex-husband, Kevin Federline, but this will be the 40-year-old’s first child with Asghari.
The news comes less than a year after the pop star declared in court how she wanted more kids, but that her conservatorship forced her to be on birth control.
The Princess of Pop was freed from her conservatorship in December 2021 after 13 years.
Last June, Spears slammed her family and co-conservators for allegedly forcing her to have an IUD.
