A high-level BRIDGE delegation led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director General of the UAE National Media Office, met with Egypt’s National Media Authority and United Media Services in Cairo this week as part of a global roadshow preparing for the BRIDGE Summit 2025.
The summit, set for Abu Dhabi from Dec. 8–10, will bring together international leaders in media, content, and entertainment.
Al Kaabi called Egypt a “founding partner” and “gateway to Africa and the Arab world,” underscoring its pivotal role in shaping Arab media and cultural identity. “Egypt’s presence in BRIDGE is not merely an invitation, but a necessity,” he said.
Ahmed Al Moslemany, Chairman of Egypt’s National Media Authority, praised BRIDGE’s vision as “a platform that unites media professionals, creators, and policymakers across continents.”
United Media Services Chairman Tarek Nour highlighted the UAE’s leadership, saying: “The UAE has built one of the world’s greatest national brands and is capable of leading a project of this global scale.”
Cairo’s meetings marked a key stop in BRIDGE’s international tour, which has already visited New York, London, Osaka, and Shanghai.
