Three People dead and several others injured as a result of mass stabbing that took place near the Notre-Dame church in Nice, France, this morning.
The incident took place at about 9 am local time. The suspect was promptly arrested by the police.
A huge police operation is now underway in the city situated on the Mediterranean coast, according to The Mirror.
The city's mayor, Christian Estrosi, has suggested that the attack was due to terrorism. A police source said a woman was decapitated, according to Reuters.

The attack comes while France is still reeling from the beheading earlier this month of French middle school teacher Samuel Paty by a man of Chechen origin.
