The CAF Disciplinary Committee confirmed on Tuesday the result of Al Ahly's clash against Al Hilal in the last round of the CAF Champions League group stage in Sudan, where both clubs held a 1-1 draw.

The encounter witnessed some riots, which broke out in the 74th minute following pitch invasion from Al Hilal fans.

In an official statement, the Disciplinary Committee decided to maintain and confirm the result of the game.

"The referee’s report stated that match ended 1-1, therefore the result of the match is maintained and confirmed," the statement read.

It also punished Al Hilal as the Sudanese would play four CAF Interclub matches without their supporters.

"Al Hilal ordered to play four (4) CAF Interclub matches behind closed doors," the statement added.

It also fined Al Hilal $50,000, but if the riots occur once again within one year the fine will be doubled to $100,000.

"Fine of 100,000 USD imposed on Al Hilal; of which 50,000 USD is suspended on condition that they are not found guilty of a similar offense within one year," the statement noted.

The committee suspended Al Hilal's official Hassan Mohamed five CAF interclub encounters and fined him $10,000.

"Five match CAF Interclubs ban and a fine of 10,000 USD imposed on Al Hilal official Hassan Mohamed," the statement concluded.
