Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro isolated himself at home on Wednesday when he got back from his trip to the United Nations.

His health minister Marcelo Queiroga tested positive for COVID-19 hours after attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The entire presidential delegation to the UN General Assembly is also in isolation, according to the government.

The government noted that Queiroga accompanied Bolsonaro to the plenary session at the UN Headquarters.

The Health Minister did not accompany the president on his flight back to Brazil, which he boarded earlier today, as he will be quarantined in a New York City hotel for 14 days.

Sources told The Brazilian Report that the health minister had a meeting with investors in New York yesterday. He was also present at the bilateral meeting between Bolsonaro and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson; he was the only one wearing a face mask.
