European Union's foreign policy and security chief, Josep Borrell, announced on Friday that the Israeli plan to attack the city of Rafah, the last refuge for those displaced by the war in the Gaza Strip, is "Alarming."
"Reports of an Israeli military offensive on Rafah are alarming," Borrell posted on 'X'.
"It would have catastrophic consequences worsening the already dire humanitarian situation & the unbearable civilian toll," he added.
