Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Policy and Security, renewed his appeal for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip and a halt to Israeli military operations.
"I join US Kamala Harris' call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. There should then be no obstacle for a UNSC resolution to that effect," Borrell posted on X
"Harris rightly said that too many people have been killed and urged Israel to allow unimpeded humanitarian access. Time for the UNSC to act," he added.
