US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed Washington's appreciation for Jordan's leadership role in promoting peace and security.
Blinken said - in a statement published by the US State Department today, Saturday, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Jordan’s National Day - “We are grateful to be partners and close friends."
"The strategic partnership and deep friendship between the United States and Jordan, now in its 75th year, is rooted in our shared commitment to promote regional peace, security, and stability," he added.
